Germantown Style "Dreamcatcher" Embroidered Rug

Vibrant embroidered rug or tapestry in the style of the Germantown "Dreamcatcher" rug. Rooted in designs created by indigenous peoples including the Navajo, this repeating pattern was reproduced by rug maker Germantown in the 1800s.

This is an embroidered revival transposed into a rectangular shape (rather than square), and a cotton backing makes this a wonderful wall mounted art moment.
